Additionally, below you will find helpful information regarding Good Faith Estimates.
At SafeSpace, we believe in transparency regarding the costs of therapy. You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” detailing the anticipated costs of your medical care:

-
Legal Requirements: Health care providers are required to provide patients who are uninsured or not using insurance with an estimate of their bills for medical items and services.

-
Comprehensive Estimates: You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services, including related expenses such as medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

-
Written Estimates: Ensure that your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your scheduled medical service or item.

-
Requesting Estimates: You may also request a Good Faith Estimate from your healthcare provider and any other provider before you schedule an item or service.

-
Disputing Bills: If you receive a bill that is at least $400 higher than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill.

-
Documentation: Remember to save a copy or photograph of your Good Faith Estimate for your records.
